How to Find Your Ring, Bangle, and Necklace Size at Home

Adjustable enamel ring worn on hand for sizing reference

Ordering jewelry online without trying it on first is the biggest hesitation most people have — but sizing accurately at home takes about two minutes with things you already own.

Ring sizing

  1. Wrap a thin strip of paper or string snugly around the base of the finger you'll wear the ring on.
  2. Mark where the string overlaps itself, then measure that length flat against a ruler in millimetres.
  3. Match that circumference measurement against a standard ring size chart to find your size.

If you're between two sizes, size up — rings that are slightly loose are far more comfortable than rings that pinch. Many KHAMM rings, including our adjustable styles, are designed to fit a range of sizes comfortably without needing an exact match.

Bangle sizing

  1. Make your hand as narrow as possible — thumb tucked into your palm, fingers together.
  2. Wrap a measuring tape (or a strip of paper, then measure it) around the widest part of your hand, across the knuckles.
  3. That measurement is your bangle's minimum opening — it needs to be at least that size to slide over your hand comfortably.

Necklace length

This one's about where you want the pendant to sit, not a body measurement:

  • 16–18 inches — sits at or just below the collarbone, classic everyday length.
  • 20–22 inches — falls lower on the chest, ideal for layering under a shorter chain.

Layering two lengths together, like a 16-inch and a 20-inch chain, is one of the easiest ways to make a single necklace look more intentional.
